A brand new lesson-planning and assessment platform that brings IMSE OG+ to vibrant digital life, IMSE LAB is the ultimate companion to the Orton-Gillingham Plus program. Designed to engage students with digital lessons, assessments, and a collection of resources, including instructional videos, an implementation library, and family connection letters in English and Spanish, this platform saves teachers time to focus on their students.
Plus, those who want to create assessments and custom lessons can quickly do so by pairing their own resources with the IMSE-provided materials. IMSE LAB adds the depth and breadth of digital to IMSE’s unparalleled approach to Structured Literacy. All users of IOG 2.0 will be transferred to IMSE LAB!
IMSE Pre-K Available in September
All new! IMSE is launching its first-ever Pre-K course to extend its offerings to supporting younger learners, ensuring that districts with Pre-K and Head Start programs have training that aligns with IMSE’s Structured Literacy approach. Complete with a teacher guide, resources to support the Pre-K curriculum, and videos to support educator learning, this 15-hour course includes everything Pre-K teachers need to teach students how to read in an impactful way. Thank you for training with IMSE already this year! With fresh OG+ training under your belt, you have the foundation you need. Next, you’ll receive these additions in June 2025 to round out your toolbox:
- A FREE NEW OG+ Updates Guide that includes differences, and information about the new Fidelity Companion.
- A video outlining the additions and changes, with a focus on the Fidelity Companion.
- A 20% discount on Teacher Guides and Student Workbooks through September 2025.
- Digital copies of the Updated Decodable Readers (all three sets).
- Digital copies of the Updated Digital Teacher Guides.
What if I completed OG+ training before 2025?
Your previous IMSE OG training means you already have a strong foundation! IMSE remains committed to your literacy success and, this June, is providing a few tools to support your ongoing efforts:

Is my IMSE OG training out of date?
If you have taken the Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham course, it is not necessary to retake the new version. The foundational skills you’ve already learned remain the bedrock of our OG training. If you’d like to incorporate updated materials in your collection (including the teacher’s guides), IMSE is offering a 20% off discount now through September 2025. What if my district registered for summer ‘25 OG+ training before this launch announcement?
Not to worry! Districts that registered for summer 2025 training prior to the new launch announcement will be trained in our latest Comprehensive OG+ curriculum and, this June, will receive a free digital version of the OG+ Printable Classroom Collection for K-2.
