With the ongoing staffing and substitute teacher shortages, educators all over the country are facing challenges in obtaining high-impact professional development. To help combat these challenges, IMSE offers several flexible scheduling options for live virtual training

IMSE Is Here to Support Educators with Online Professional Development

The goal of our virtual trainings is to replicate our interactive live format, which has been the hallmark of our Structured Literacy training for the past 25 years. This means our virtual training has the same 30 hours of content as the in-person training.

With IMSE virtual training, you will receive all the same instruction and materials, as well as additional support in the form of breakout rooms, Q&A sessions, practice with peers, and lesson planning sessions. The format of these virtual settings makes it just as informative and engaging of an experience as our in-person options.

IMSE Virtual Training Options

IMSE has 6 live virtual training options for our Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham+ and Morphology+ courses that can be completed in as little as 5 days or spread out over the course of 10 weeks to meet your scheduling needs. This gives you the opportunity to more easily fit 30 hours of training into your busy schedule.

No matter what your schedule looks like, we have an option that can fit your time constraints:

And did we mention that instead of scheduling by where you’re located, sessions are scheduled by time zone? We have designated sessions for Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones!

IMSE Asynchronous Training Options

IMSE offers asynchronous courses to those who are unable to attend live virtual or in-person training due to their busy schedules but are still looking to participate in professional development. These courses can be started, paused, and resumed over time so that you can work at your own pace.

The courses offered in our asynchronous format are:

Consider IMSE Virtual Training Today!

Since March 2020, IMSE has successfully trained over 55,000 educators using our live virtual format! And as we continue to offer this option of training to educators everywhere, we expect that number to continue to be on the rise for years to come.

“This training was the best professional development I have ever had; the trainer was explicit in her instruction, passionate about Orton-Gillingham, and so incredibly knowledgeable. I was unsure about the virtual training at first, but after this week, I am now an advocate for it! WOW! Thank you, IMSE!”

Educators everywhere are raving about IMSE’s live virtual training option and how it is helping them make an IMPACT on their students! As we continue to support educators everywhere through staff and substitute teacher shortages as well as the fight towards better literacy rates, we hope you would consider the opportunity of participating in an IMSE training, whether it be virtual or in-person.
